The Out of touch Democrat AOC insulted all who work hard to pay their way through college.

Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.
(TCP News) See the resemblance between the donkey and the
jackass, I mean AOC? AOC continues to demonstrate how out of touch she is with people who actually value hard work; people who have values period this writer thinks.
These Republicans who are defensively rage-tweeting “But you’re wrong! I worked my way to pay through college!!” don’t realize they sound like folks who speak of the days when Hershey bars were 5¢ at the general store.

Wow, how is it that a U.S. Congresswoman can be this insulting, uneducated, patronizing, and downright ignorant? There are many in this country that work hard, who didn’t have things handed to them on a silver platter. Many people who got where they are today by working hard. Plenty of folks who worked their way through college, many working in low wage jobs like food service, grocery stores, gas stations etc.
I paid back thousands of dollars in loans. What a slap in the face to people that actually work hard to pay for stuff.

Exactly – where was AOC’s head at when she made these asinine statements anyway?
Millennial here: college full time while working 40+ hours a week in construction while married & having a mortgage. Lost a child & adopted a child during that time. Took classes on lunch break and 7 AM. 18 credit hours last semester with a newborn. Paid off loans early.

AOC didn’t merely step in it, she fell face first in IT.
A Hershey bar was 5 cents in 1950 & the average wage was $3,300.00. In 2020 average salary ranges from about $30,000 – $90,000. Oh, and the Hershey bar is now 88 cents at Walmart. The bar itself weighed 1 1/4 ounces – today it weighs 1.55 ounces. That means the price of the candy bar went up 1660%. The wage went up 809.091%.
A new car in 1950 was $2,210.
See if you can wrap your head around this – college cost was/is:
TIME noted, in places like the University of Pennsylvania, where students were charged $600 in 1950 (nearly $6,000 today). By 1960, with enrollment surging, even more money was needed, and a major tuition hike was forecast. That year, college costs surveyed by TIME included $2,015 for tuition, room and board, and fees for a year at Bates, and $1,450 for Lewis and Clark. (That’s $16,400 and $11,800 today.)
These days, the average cost for a year at a four-year college ranges from $9,410 for in-state public tuition to $32,410 for private. Neither of those figures include room and board. But, in general and at many specific places, costs are far higher: just looking at a few of the colleges surveyed by TIME over the years, Vassar these days costs $52,320 for a year’s tuition, and Bates is $64,500 for tuition, room and board and fees.
But you old geezers have it all wrong, you should NOT work to pay for college, no, no, no – you should let the government pay for it for you. After all, it’s free anyway – right?
CLUELESS. Meet Answer:
Because it's not up to everyone else to make sure you can have a free ride through life. What have you done for them? Two way street Sunshine.

US college costs increased 497% from 1985.
Wages for Americans increased 120% over that time.
For a party that talks about money all the time, they’re exceptionally bad at math.

This concept is above AOC’s pay grade.
The moral of the story? Don’t elect uneducated know-it-all smart-a**es to serve in Congress. Next time, elect a grown-up with a modicum of intelligence to do the job.
