True leadership comes from influencing, and that must be earned.  A misconception held by many is that leadership and managing are one and the same.

Where have the “Servant Leaders” gone?  They are not around anymore…Oh, maybe one here and one over there, but truly they are difficult to find.  Not like in yesteryear when those choosing to run for public office did so to give back in gratitude for all this exceptional Nation had provided them.  Yesteryear, people ran for public office to make a positive difference that would contribute to a legacy left upon their death.  In a bygone era people stood for public office and viewed election as a sacred trust, a bond so-to-speak between themselves and those who elected them.  I knew several public officials like this, and I was most fortunate to have several mentors along my path of development who taught me the meaning of becoming a “Servant Leader” no matter what position of leadership from which I may be operating.  As a child, I was taught to lead, but to lead all into a better performance for the public good, for the improvement and enjoyment of those with whom I may be leading, and to leave the business or school or wherever I may be better for my having been there.

Can a Servant and a Leader be fused into one real person?  I have observed that the great leaders are seen as servants first, and this simple fact is the key to that leader’s greatness.

“No man is a leader until his appointment as a leader is ratified in the minds and hearts of his men.” – The Infantry Journal.

True leadership comes from influencing, and that must be earned.  A misconception held by many is that leadership and managing are one and the same.  Leadership is about influencing people to follow for the greater good, while management focuses on maintaining systems and processes.  In the same breath, true leadership is quite different than positional leadership.  A person who has position or power has incredible leverage, and people may follow these positional leaders cooperatively because their livelihood or freedom are at stake.  But true leadership brings people out of bondage, it allows them to experience freedom – freedom of thought, of ideas, of expression.  True leadership encourages followers to believe in themselves and to rise above what they thought possible.  True leadership influences people to work toward a mutual vision, to invite the followers to be partakers in the fruits of the labor; thus a servant leader empowers others to reach their full potential.  Along with this ideal the servant leader makes personal integrity a product of his vision.  People may think if a plan or a vision is sufficiently good people will automatically buy into it and follow, but this is a charade and not true leadership.  A servant leader has personal integrity as a part of his/her demeanor and this translates into credibility from which a leader can have the privilege of influencing lives and the environment for better.  A servant leader makes integrity a cornerstone of his being, and thus will find people drawing closer to him, not staying away out of fear.

A Servant Leader places his people, his family, his organization, and his area of representation before himself.  This attitude of sacrifice understands that the development of people is the highest calling of a true leader; not gaining power, higher office, more center stage time.  Elected officials at the national level of our country should be placing America First; not all sorts of personal or political agendas, not causes ripping the very fabric of our country, not pitting one group of citizens against another hurting all.

We are at a pivotal point in our country.  We are coming to a juncture where we will either stand-up for the ideals, values, and principles that founded our Great Nation or we shall perish from the face of the earth into being a footnote in history.  We are coming to a point in time where the people of America will either stand-up and push out those in positional leadership who would rather bring strife and confusion, emotional rhetoric that stirs people into rage rather than into making America what our Founders always envisioned, an exceptional nation because we chose to honor the Lord as our Forefathers did, and who guided the development and early years of this Great Republic.

We have been granted a reprieve, a window of time, to decide if we will reverse the God-less Marxist path of destruction Venezuela is experiencing right now; or return to our foundational structure unlike any other in the global community.  We have been given a man who understands Servant Leadership.  You may not like portions of his personality or demeanor, but just like God called Cyrus in the Old Testament, Isaiah Chapter 45, to lead the people of Israel away from their own destruction, the Lord called Trump to lead the people of America away from a modern-day destruction well underway by the time Mr. Trump took office.

America was not created, nor built, for any other form of government other than as a Republic.  It seems few are the servant leaders in government fighting to keep America alive.  The majority of positional leaders in both political parties are banking on selling the American People a plan that sounds good and tickles the ears, hoping American citizens will automatically buy into their plan of chaos and destruction.

So…where have the Servant Leaders gone?  They are not around much anymore.  Come forward if you are a true Servant Leader, this is your time and you are desperately needed.  Look below at a positional leader who is the opposite of what I have herein briefly described.  If you agree with me then pass this message around making it go much further than I ever could.

SHE FEELS YOUR PAIN!  Busted Poverty Warrior Maxine Waters’ Plush $4.5 Million Angeles Mansion:  Indoor Swimming Pool … Outdoor gates and walls…  Do you feel her pain?

How can a member of Congress afford a $4.5 million Los Angeles mansion that takes up half a city block in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country?  Ask Maxine Waters.

Ask her about her other two homes as well, worth another approximate $850,000 to $1.1 million.  Savvy real estate acquisitions for a public servant with a $174,000 House of Representatives salary.  Whoops, almost left out Maxine’s time share property in Palm Springs, California.  Add that to her list.   Only one of her homes is located in the gritty Los Angeles congressional district which she was elected to represent.  Her exclusive estate is miles north … well outside her congressional district … far away from Los Angeles street crime, murder and the folks she is supposed to help.  Apparently, Maxine has addressed concerns about help.  A private company maintains her property and impressive manicured landscaping at the mansion.

Oh, we almost forgot this too.  Maxine Waters’ posh 6,000 square foot Los Angeles estate is protected with wrought-iron gates at the front doors and gates for driveways and patios on each side of the Mediterranean-style abode.  And add a long brick wall that protects the side of the sprawling property.  There are some gates and fencing in the back also, near the custom barbecue area and the detached structure that houses Maxine’s newly built indoor pool.  Or is the swimming pool in the main house?  We’ll have to ask the butler.

For someone who touts a wall-free society where illegal aliens can roam free, Maxine Waters sure seems concerned about gates and walls to protect her in the Los Angeles mansion.  Perhaps she’s worried the wayward homeless or DREAMers might pool hop or grille a Salisbury steak while she’s busy on CNN railing about President Donald Trump or how she really cares about financially-strapped Americans struggling to make ends meet.    The Maxine Waters estate boasts large scale rooms touted as “perfect for gracious entertaining” in one Los Angeles – based publication.  It includes a “stunning entry with a dramatic staircase … lovely pecan paneling in the family room … and the guest house too!”

Who keeps an eye on the place when Maxine is on the east coast fighting world poverty and hunger?  Her neighbors include the mayor of Los Angeles, singer Chris Brown, Norman Chandler, the owner of the Los Angeles Times, actor Neal McDonough, Lord Baltimore’s Christian Audigier, among many others including the former Tudor Revival style mansion of deceased oil magnate J. Paul Getty.  The mayor of Los Angeles resides in the former mansion of Getty.  He’s a Democrat too.

And all this time Maxine had America conned into believing she was elected to her Washington, D.C. post to help the downtrodden folks struggling in poverty-plagued inner cities like the one in her backyard.  Well, not that backyard.  That could get dicey.  Those folks might want to get out of the sun and use the air-conditioned indoor pool area.  What … your 100-year-old imported marble floors are too good for the homeless?

Wait, it even gets more ridiculous.  We found approximately 17 building permits on file since Waters purchased this home in 2004.  Waters had many additions built on the nearly 100-year old property, costing another estimated $1 million-plus, according to our math.  Likely more. She commissioned the indoor pool built and even paid a plumber to pipe hot and cold water, as well as propane gas to her outdoor grilling area and custom kitchen..  She added a pergola too, building records show an additional 15’ X 18′ custom patio cover Hey, before you judge:  It gets hot in Los Angeles and shade is a premium.  Ask any homeless veteran.

Some of the building permits filed on the Tony Windsor Square section home provided details like “Interior remodel in kitchen family room and master bathroom … addition of French doors and windows relocate windows remove interior walls … addition of shear walls and beams at ground floor.  Many other permits did not give explanations of the home improvement work.  Maxine Waters’ house takes up the same geographic acreage as two of her neighbors’ properties combined.  That’s an extra-large carbon footprint, especially in Los Angeles.

A typical Democratic phony loaded with multiple homes, cash and the walls and iron to protect them from would-be troublemakers.  Maxine Waters, who rails about President Donald Trump’s financials’ and tax returns, filed her most recent financial disclosure form with Congress in 2015.  She lists her approximate net worth in the $450,000 range.  That’s a mere fraction of the amount of the home improvements made to her Los Angeles estate.  Maxine Waters lists the mortgage on her Los Angeles mansion at somewhere between $1 million and $5 million.  What’s a few million between D.C. friends?

Please tell us again, Maxine:  Who should be investigated and impeached?  Maxine rants about the plague of homelessness and the GOP’s contribution to the issue.  The irony is thick.
