“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”—Romans 1:20
When Helen Keller was a very young girl, a disease affected her in a dramatic way. She lost her sight, hearing, and speech. Essentially she was isolated from the world.
But Anne Sullivan made it her life’s purpose to reach Helen. She taught Helen how to communicate through touch. And when she tried to tell Helen about God, Helen said she already knew Him, but she just didn’t know His name. Despite the fact that she couldn’t hear or see, God still made Himself known to her.
