Hate Letter For Queen Who Abolished Animal Fur for Apparel

What Finger News

by Rev. Austin Miles

Stupid people have the most to say on any subject.  The email below was rushed to me the moment my story about Queen Elizabeth making it illegal to sell animal fur for clothing, especially coats, was published.  My story told how cruel the methods are that is used to take that fur from live animals.  There have been major stores of late telling how first class stores in Europe and America have taken the same stance upon halting the selling of clothing made of animal fur.

Below is the hate letter just received and after that you will see my response to the scribbler of his criticism.

I take issue with you saying dogs are skinned alive. The pelt would be ruined from all the squiming the animal would be doing. I am not saying it hasn’t been done. I am saying it is not done if wanting to use the pelt. The way you put further that statement is to lead people to believe it is done on a large scale. That is simply not true. There is nothing wrong with utilizing animals. God said we were to have domion over all the earth and animals. There is a difference between cruelty and utilizing. It amazes me animal rights people cry and howl about poor animals but never raise as much as a sign over cruelty to humans or abortion. Solve the cruelty to humans first than move on to the next problem. People are more important than animals! Animal rights is just another anti God stance. At the very least don’t LIE about the issue!

Mr. Foltz,

I debated about publishing your idiotic letter to me but have decided to do so to clear up misconceptions that have formed in the minds of people like you.  First of all, you are wrong.  Yes dogs and other animals ARE skinned alive for their pelts.  Don’t deny it.  What you are ignorant of (among other things) is that it is the very stress of the animals being cruelly skinned that gives the pelts the quality needed for the expensive coats.  I KNOW THIS FOR FACT.

As for the Biblical instruction you took upon yourself to teach me, a fully ordained minister and chaplain, A Bible verse you insisted I look at, stating that ‘man has dominion over the animals,’ which shows that you obviously know nothing about the Bible since the word “Dominion” actually means, “Respect” and “Cooperate with” the animals.  Not treat them cruelly.  You didn’t know that did you?

But you really crossed the line when you said how amazed you were that these ‘animal rights people’ (I would be included in that roll call)  cry and howl over poor animals but never raise a sign over cruelty to humans or abortions.

Mr. Foltz, you are a no good liar and rabble rouser with no real feelings about anything except politics.  This columnist has written more stories about the horrors of abortion and why it should be stopped than anyone today.  If you took time to really read you would know this.  Reading more will improve your education.  Try going to church and to night school.  It would do you a world of good.

Meanwhile, Long live the Queen for her human heart toward animals.  And I have the suspicion that the Queen is a bit more educated than you, Sir.
