Leah Sharibu was taken captive along with over 100 of her classmates on February 19, 2018 by the Islamist militia, Boko Haram. The Nigeria government was quickly able to secure the release of all the girls but Leah, a Christian who refused to deny her Christian faith. October 26th marks twenty months of Leah’s captivity and concerned citizens will gather in Washington DC, and across the globe, to pray for her safe release and call on governments to act on Leah’s behalf. Go to http://www.pray4leah.org to find a vigil near you.
Leah’s mother pleads for all Christians to pray for her daughter.
To give all an opportunity to pray, Persecution Watch has scheduled a call-in event for those unable to attend a physical location. You can find the prayer call details here
Voice of the Persecuted is asking that you pray and be a voice by spreading the word on social media. #Itstime #PrayForLeah #FreeLeah
We also encourage you to sign the petition urging the president of Nigeria to secure the release of Leah. SIGN HERE
