There is a new political breeze blowing across our country, a breeze with substance not to be ignored and written off as merely whimsical or simply transient. When this political breeze first appeared many enjoyed the relief it brought. This breeze was refreshing and even comforting compared to years of a howling squall that proved blistering, draining and damaging, even frightful. Amidst celebration some found this change in the political climate to be unwelcomed even difficult to accept, and not at all good. This new political breeze continues, however, and contained within its’ atmosphere is an element that emboldens those who stand and move in the same direction as the breeze.
Over the past couple of months, I responded to requests for consultations from candidates running for office in Arizona, Texas, and California. None of these candidates have ever sought political office previously. All are seeking office presently because of the new political breeze blowing. I can share that each candidate is a little nervous running for public office, but they are more scared that our country has been on a course leading toward collapse since Ronald Reagan left the presidency, and if this course is not reversed, their children and grandchildren will not have what we have experienced, enjoyed, and even flourished in because of our blessed freedoms. These new candidates are sincerely sobered that the foundation our Forefathers laid and then built on is deliberately being allowed to crumble, and then collapsed altogether. Mr. Trump has ignited in these candidates, and others who will still be coming forward, a sense of urgency and no-nonsense. The political breeze he stirred two years ago on the main floor of the Trump Tower as he announced his candidacy for office began a steady and significant breeze going across the Land, and once again average citizens are finding strength and renewed purpose standing in this breeze and allowing its content to wash over them. So-called “seasoned” establishment office holders don’t get it, and in fact are working doubly hard to wait this new breeze out. We saw an example this past Tuesday with the election in Virginia.
Republican candidate for Governor in Virginia, Ed Gillespie, is an establishment guy. A former Republican National Committee Chairman, he has worked many years as a political consultant and lobbyist. Ed Gillespie did not want anything to do with President Trump’s new political breeze, did not support him as Trump campaigned, and even over the past eleven months Ed Gillespie would not stand with President Trump to bring sorely needed change to drain the political establishment swamp in Washington, D.C.. The people of Virginia keenly observed that candidate Ed Gillespie did not even want President Trump to come to Virginia. But the people of the Great State of Virginia knew the political breeze of change was blowing, and their candidate for Republican Governor did not want anything to do with this change or breeze. He lost! Just like the establishment political elites who refuse to surrender their power, what happens is that these establishment creatures double down and stubbornly run still another establishment person, and another, and then still another expecting a different outcome. In some circles this is considered a sign of mental illness. Think about this: John McCain, a real swamp creature, loses to Obama. So the Republican establishment swamp dwellers bring Mitt Romney to the party and have him run. He loses! Then the Republican establishment does it again and backs Jeb Bush, but citizens across the country did not respond positively; they wanted the new breeze Trump was introducing so the repetitive Bush experience lost!
A populist movement is sweeping America; true conservative principles, capitalist supporting, wanting smaller government, respect for family, and dignity for individuals regardless of race all of this within the framework outlined by our Constitution. No America without borders. No America where the opportunity to succeed is limited to only the elite, the few, the rich. No Social Marxism covertly introduced. No America where it is shameful when a person stands for the Flag of these United States! The breeze that makes our flag snap in the air is similar to the new political breeze blowing across our Land. It is causing attention to be paid to the sound associated with the snapping. It is signaling we have been granted another chance; a new window of opportunity to get it right, to return to the foundational beliefs and principles that guided our Forefathers, and helped create this exceptional nation. Swept up in the breeze are new candidates at all levels of public service; from local city councils to state legislators to Congress, and although new and even unpolished, they are determined to bring the legitimate message echoing what Donald Trump began forcefully speaking which contributed to the new political breeze now blowing across the Land – “Let’s Make America Great Again!”
From quaint villages to small towns, from small cities to the large metropolis Americans are fed-up with the political rhetoric and establishment code uttered by career office holders. The rhetoric of the McCain, Flake, Corker, Bush, McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, and a host of other establishment gate keepers is annoying and being tuned out! The same is true at local and state levels where office holders talk, talk, talk but only their fellow elected buddies seem to prosper; while those they claim to represent continue to experience hardships brought on by the office holders who are too busy talking to notice…or care. A new political breeze is blowing, creating a snapping across the Land which is empowering heretofore unknowns to stand and fight for the home of the brave and the land of the free. Quite a concept.
|The 24 candidates listed below need volunteers, financial support and media exposure. Many of them will be challenging very powerful incumbents from the establishment wing of the Republican Party, but as we saw in the case of Roy Moore, we can win if we all work together. Check “Pro-Trump Candidates For Congress” often, because this list will continue to grow…|
