Mattis and Trump Warn North Korea of “Massive” and “Overwhelming” Military Response if they Continue to Act Out

On Sunday, Secretary of Defense James Mattis responded to North Korea’s brazen nuclear display from earlier in the weekend when they reportedly tested out an H-Bomb.

The man they call “Mad Dog” has an important warning for North Korea, and I for one, hope they are listening.

General Michael Flynn defense fund Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.

“Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming,” Mattis told reporters at the White House on Sunday. “Kim Jong-un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice. All members unanimously agreed on the threat North Korea poses and remain unanimous in their commitment to the denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula… We are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said, we have many options to do so.”

On Sunday, President Trump also spoke with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for the second time in less than a week and assured the Japanese leader that the United States would support Japan in whatever comes next.

Later the White House also released a statement calling on North Korea to think carefully about their next moves, because the entire planet is monitoring the situation.

The White House made it clear that any attack on American territory or her allies would bring a strong military response — and explicitly mentioned nuclear weapons.

“President Trump reaffirmed the commitment of the United States to defending our homeland, territories, and allies using the full range of diplomatic, conventional, and nuclear capabilities at our disposal,” the statement read.

The White House said North Korea’s test of a nuclear weapon would not drive the allies apart.

“The two leaders condemned North Korea’s continued destabilizing and provocative actions, confirmed the two countries’ ironclad mutual defense commitments, and pledged to continue close cooperation,” the statement read.

Trump had more to say about the issue on Twitter:
