To say that Fox News’ host of the O’Reilly Factor Bill O’Reilly was upset would be the understatement of a lifetime. The center-right host of one of the most important nightly opinion shows on Cable TV was visibly angry on Tuesday night as he and guests Juan Williams and Lisa Boothe discussed the fact that FBI Director Comey was either incompetent or corrupt.
Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.
In the course of the conversation the three (Williams from the left, Boothe from the right, and O’Reilly somewhere in the middle) all seem to agree that Hillary Clinton and her team have lied about her private email server time and again. (The three also play down President Obama’s connection to the email server scandal.) O’Reilly makes a point of explaining for his audience just how disturbing Clinton’s history of lying and obfuscating the truth has actually been… but he also saves his harshest criticism not for Clinton or Obama, but for FBI Director James Comey.
In O’Reilly’s mind, Comey’s obvious corruption is the most disturbing aspect of the scandal in light of the latest WikiLeaks emails proving that the Clinton campaign has been trying to cover up their crimes for well over a year. The most recent emails from Cheryl Mills, John Podesta, and Neera Tanden are proof positive that Clinton and her cronies have been lying to the American people, lying to Congress (under oath, mind you), and probably lying to investigators since the scandal first broke almost two years ago!
O’Reilly was nearly apoplectic when wondering aloud how it was that Comey would not even mention these emails in his summation of the investigation.
“Why didn’t the director of the FBI tell the American people about that email? …
He didn’t mention it in his summation of the case. Either Comey didn’t know about it, which is a dereliction of the FBI’s duty, or he knew about it and covered it up.”
When liberal guest Juan Williams suggested that perhaps Comey was making a political calculation, as opposed to a criminal one, the suggestion set O’Reilly off again. “What? The campaign itself, the Hillary Clinton machine itself, is admitting this is bad and they’ve got to do something and Comey doesn’t think it has anything to do with the investigation? …
He’s the FBI director! No politics! He’s the investigator! He didn’t blanking mention it! That is so damning!”
O’Reilly is right on the money here. Comey either dropped the ball in this investigation due to outright incompetence or through complete corruption, and neither speaks well of him or the FBI.
