Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.
This morning in prayer, I received a picture in my mind of a funeral service in a church sanctuary:
I was sitting in the sanctuary, and I was mourning the death of the man in the coffin. The lid of the box was open, and the man’s body was lying on the white pillows inside. To all outward appearances, he looked as if he was peacefully sleeping.
His hair was brushed and arranged, his lightly rouged lips were frozen in a peaceful pose, as they looked up through the makeup. The man’s dark gray suit was expensive looking, and appeared very orderly and in good taste upon his body.
Why do I mourn this passing? Why is my soul so burdened by grief? Who is this that I would look upon the scene and be made so tired and worn out with living this life? What is this all about? And suddenly I know.
The man in the coffin, who is presented so peacefully, is himself at that very moment turning, twisting and screaming in agony in the fires of Hell. The man is “the church”, and I am also in danger of being that man!
At the same time, I also know that the fires of Hell are cool in comparison to the fire of the Holy Spirit. Which fire will I choose while I yet live? A choice is now mandatory, for I can’t see this picture, this scene, without making one.
And I pray that the Holy Spirit will rage through me today with His unquenchable fire. While He does, I pray He show absolutely no mercy to me until He finishes His work. Better to die by His holy fire, than to be in Hell, both now and for forever.
The blood of Jesus may wash away my sins, but only the fire of the Holy Spirit will consume me in the death I must have, to go forward from this place, for indeed, the altar of God is intended to be my funeral pyre.
