This is so cool! In November of 2014, these soldiers in Iraq waded into the Euphrates River. The reason may surprise you…to baptize one of their own! What a beautiful testimony of how in the midst of terror and chaos, hope and faith does prevail.
Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless.
Letter from General Flynn.
From Qpolitical:
When this soldier was surrounded by terrorism while serving in Iraq, he decided to be baptized in a historical river for Christianity. This heartwarming video is the best baptism I’ve ever seen!
This soldier wanted to publicly declare his faith in Jesus Christ while serving in Iraq.
Despite the attacks that threatened soldiers’ lives daily, this Christian soldier decided to be baptized in the Euphrates River- the only river mentioned in both the first and last book of the Bible.
t was 46 degrees with winds blowing at 36 miles an hour…despite the freezing conditions these guys got into that water and drip dried in the cold! In the midst of war and Islamic extremism these guys took a brave stand to declare their faith and hope in the one true God. How amazing is that?!

And I thought my being Baptized in the Jordan River was awesome. This is awesome. Such bravery and dedication. Praise God. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Sue. Although I would really like to be baptized in the Jordon also, it is just glorious to see a baptism of one of our men in the Euphrates River in Iraq. How awesome is our God!
He’s really, really, really awesome. 🙂
