Above: Gov. Jerry Brown Signing Death Bill
Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless.

SACRAMENTO 3/16/16–The California State Legislature recently passed the Right-to-Die Bill. Governor Jerry Brown signed it into law which becomes legal on June 9th. The measure allows physicians to supply the pills that will end a life that has become intolerable.
This bill was spurred on by 29 year old Brittany Maynard who suffered painful brain cancer and pleaded to have her life ended to put her out of her misery.
Since California had no such law, she and her husband took up residence in Oregon where euthanasia is legal. Her husband returned to push the right to die legislation in Sacramento.
While it is understandable that when a life is destined to end, and consists of excruciating pain that cannot be soothed, the individual should be able to make the choice for death with dignity. However, there must be strict guidelines throughout this process.
For example in several countries that have adopted this law, involuntary euthanasia arose, where one is arbitrarily put to death, as laws became more permissive. This has created a mechanism where someone who is considered too expensive to government health care assistance, or, is simply in the way, a Pandora’s Box is opened. I remember a video showing a man about to be euthanized screaming, “No I don’t want to die!” Didn’t matter, he had become too expensive and in the way. This is unacceptable.
In the Netherlands, 1,040 people have died without their consent. Before legalization, doctors would euthanize patients and then falsely sign the death certificates as “natural causes.”This gives meaning to the Death Panels that Sarah Palin worried about. Actually we already have active death panels with involuntary euthanasia. It is called abortion.
The only way this bill should go forward, is to add a stipulation that physician assisted suicide can only take place with the consent to that procedure from the individual targeted, not by a death panel, not a relative nor anybody else. This addition to the legislation must be mandatory. Legislation without thinking leads to disaster.

My question is, when did we become God? He knows every hair on our head, He holds us in His hand and knows the time we will die, the circumstances of our death, and how we will die. These laws are usurping God! I don’t agree. “Thou shall not kill” that includes babies and adults. Period. And yes, if I was in that circumstance I might change my mind but I don’t think so. If God comes first then His will comes first.
I agree with you mostly, and for sure it is wrong to kill oneself. And yet I have to wonder if I was in the situation Brittany was in what I would do, chronic pain that is so severe and you cannot find relief. I would try to abide by God’s wishes of course…
It’s a tough decision for sure, for all concerned. I don’t think any of us truly know what we would do in that situation. I watched my husband suffer for five years and he “toughed it out” to the end. I tend to think these laws make it too easy to give up and they can/will be abused, as stated. And where’s the trust in the Lord? Like I said, God’s will comes first, or it should. He said He is with us in ALL things.
You summed it up well, I agree.
