“But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.” (James 1: 19-20 NASB)
Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.
Among the newscasters and pundits it is heard every day that Donald Trump is reflecting the anger of the American people. According to the apostle James that will not change very much and, in fact, in America’s fallen moral state, it may be what brings us to judgment rather than birthing some renewal of “greatness.”
Shouldn’t we be asking if God is angry?
We complain about Obama’s lawlessness and obviously sleazy moral agenda, the liberally saturated Senate and the wimpy powerless Congress. While everyone disdains the breakdown in law and morals, nine men and women cloister in their chambers for a time and then emerge to proclaim that unborn babies aren’t human enough to save. After a generation of living in that lie, they frost the cake with the ruling that men can marry men.
And now we are angry?
We need to calm ourselves and question what kind of thinking, what appointments to the judiciary branch we have allowed, and what response God might have to a generation long slide into reprobation.
Forget Trump’s anger and his frivolous promise to make America great again – we are looking in the wrong direction.
There will be no greatness again until these things are dealt with. Can Trump deal with them?
The Deceived and the Deceiver – Which are we Dealing With?
“With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.” (Job 12: 16-17)
The charlatan often knows they are using deception to gain what they want from their victims, but they are not the most dangerous kind of deceiver, because someone, at some time, will always see through their deception.
It is the one who does not know they are deceived that is more dangerous. They are pawns in the hand of the great deceiver. (Rev 20: 10)
It is far more likely that because Trump has not lived by God’s word and has spent his time amassing a fortune for himself that he is in the latter category.
In either case, it doesn’t matter at this juncture which of these is true. We have already given our greatness over to the nine members of SCOTUS, all we can do now is give the presidency over to a man who thinks that slapping China around and building up the military will bring it all back.
This is a lot of Disney World kind of wishful thinking, apart from dealing with much harsher truths.
As a nation we truly have become the old maid who spends all her time sweeping out the cobwebs, but never does anything about the spider.
Brutal honesty is what leads this writer, prophet and servant to declare that Donald Trump is just another old maid sent by presumption, personal pride, pompousness, and maybe, the Deceiver (Satan) himself. Neither his anger, nor ours will make us great again.
Trump and Nimrod – a Parallel to Poignant to Ignore
In the ancient world it was Nimrod who decided he would make the inhabitants of his kingdom “great.” In fact, he thought they could reach God himself and become as great as God or a close second. That ended with a total dispersion of his people and the confusion of their language. (Ge 11: 1-9)
Modernity’s counterpart to Nimrod is a man who builds towers and emblazons his name all over them for the world to see. Now, Trump is calling an entire nation to himself with a promise to make them “great.” This repeating of history has no more promise of success than the last.
The only difference is that this generation of followers will have the chance to see that the modern Nimrod was as his ancient counterpart only an “apprentice” after all.
The Immutable Maxim – Moral Decline is Always Followed by Economic Decline
Over forty years has passed since God told me that America would undergo an economic collapse that would affect every man, woman and child in the nation. After studying both history and the scriptures I found that God has done this many times before.
He gave ancient Israel warning that their economy would fall like a stone, and further, it would reach all the way down to common necessities like their daily food supply.
Before Israel was carried off by their enemies, the Babylonians, the pre-exilic prophet Ezekiel warned them with these dreadful words, to wit:
“Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment: That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.” (Eze 4: 16-17)
Breaking the staff of bread is the extreme end of an economic implosion, but the seeds have already been planted today. We need only look around to see the early shoots beginning to sprout up.
Our markets, like those all over the globe, have begun to decline, retail outlets (Sears, Walmart) are closing in record numbers. And more than likely if Trump is elected he will begin to impose impossible tariffs and restrictions on trade that will result in even more decline. Other nations may not like America policing the world, but they will never tolerate American intervention to control world trade.
I can only tell what I heard, but today, I can say it is about to begin. Donald Trump may be part of the reason it starts, but he is absolutely powerless to bring it to an end.
His anger and ours will make for a poor substitute for bread. Anger has no nutritional value and it has no value in determining; who is the best choice to be President of these United States.
If you want a president who thinks we can be great again without repentance, vote for Trump. If you need someone to sooth a guilty conscience rather than calling you to consider your sins, then watch the Osteen broadcast each Sunday.
If you don’t know exactly what you need, let me suggest this – you have already heard it with your own ears and seen it with your own eyes.
I promise you, anger is not the response God is looking for.
“Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the LORD; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.” (2 Ch 24: 19)
