Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless.
Letter from General Flynn.
Obama claimed that he had to get out of Iraq to go to Afghanistan. Instead he blew both wars. ISIS took over major chunks of Iraq. And the Taliban are taking back Afghanistan.
During his original campaign, Obama kept accusing Bush and McCain of “taking their eyes off the ball” in Afghanistan. “Because we have taken our eye off the ball, they are stronger now than any time since 2001. As president, I want us to fight on the right battlefield, and what that means is getting out Iraq and refocusing our attention on the war that can be won in Afghanistan.”
But as senator Obama didn’t even bother with the actual hearings on Afghanistan and in the White House, he sent American troops to fight with the Taliban with hands tied behind their backs by restrictive rules of engagement resulting in a much higher casualty rate than during the Bush administration. Then he tried to negotiate with the “moderate Taliban”.
With control of — or a significant presence in — roughly 30 percent of districts across the nation, according to Western and Afghan officials, the Taliban now holds more territory than in any year since 2001, when the puritanical Islamists were ousted from power after the 9/11 attacks. For now, the top American and Afghan priority is preventing Helmand, largely secured by U.S. Marines and British forces in 2012, from again falling to the insurgency.
As of last month, about 7,000 members of the Afghan security forces had been killed this year, with 12,000 injured, a 26 percent increase over the total number of dead and wounded in all of 2014, said a Western official with access to the most recent NATO statistics.
As Afghan security forces struggle, U.S. Special Operations troops are increasingly being deployed into harm’s way to assist their Afghan counterparts. Since Nov. 4, four members of the U.S.-led coalition have been wounded in Helmand, said U.S. Army Col. Michael Lawhorn, a military spokesman. Officially, U.S. military personnel have a mandate only “to train, advise and assist” Afghan forces.
And the unofficial reality is that Obama lost Iraq, now he’s losing Afghanistan, and it means that a lot of Americans died in vain.
According to Obama, “President Obama responsibly ended the war in Iraq and will end the war in Afghanistan in 2014.” In reality, Obama is eulogizing the latest six American casualties in Afghanistan.
