Regarding the article entitled “Pope Francis Leads the Apostasy – Says the
Bible and the Koran are the Same,” we have been informed that Ms.
Bernard’s original source was a satirical site that cannot be trusted for

In our search to verify the truth of the Pope’s declaration about the
Bible and the Koran we were surprised to see that a direct quote cannot be
found. We were equally surprised to see what the Pope has said and it is
there we can safely say that the Pope’s recent allusions to other
religions and his behaviors still put him in the number one spot for
leading the church’s last day’s apostasy

Any connection to Islam and its Qu’ran is clearly part of an apostasy and
idolatry. The scripture passages used in the article remain true and the
result of following this very confused religion will produce the same –

While a quote has not been found it is the other behaviors of the Pope
that will lead some to think that everything in the Christian faith
including the Bible is on the same par with Islam and the Koran.

Since Islam is the perfect antithesis to Christianity the warning stands,
even while the original source was incorrect.

The recent visit to the Blue Mosque in turkey to pray, the kissing of the
Koran, the announcement that Islam is opposed to all violence and allowing
Muslim prayers in the Vatican are all signs of apostasy, but much worse
they are the kinds of signs that many Catholics will perceive as a
greenlight to fully accept the Islamic faith on an equal par with
Christianity and the Bible.

Rev Michael Bresciani

The one world religion nonsense of the liberals across the globe just got a boost from Pope Francis. At the same time the truth and the plenary verbal inspiration of the scriptures has taken a serious hit, at least among the 1.2 billion Roman Catholics of the world.

Most of mainstream biblically based Christianity is still reeling from the Pope’s recent entrance into the uber-green panicky nonsense about global warming posing a threat to the very future existence of the human race.

Scriptures say basic message of the Koran is false and is an “other gospel”

We have a Pope who seems totally ignorant of the one quarter of the bible that lays out the future of man in clear and precise prophecies which are pre-written history, not suspect science, speculation or religious tripe.

A lot of time is spent on labeling non-Catholics as independents, but it takes little wisdom to recognize the semantic twisting of such an effort. It would be both accurate and far more honest to say that both Catholics and bible believing Christians are completely – ‘dependent.’ Catholics depend of the Pope for authority and biblically based Christians depend on the scriptures alone.

This simple truth is the reason why we cannot follow the Pope down the apostasy trail to the kind of error that will cost the lives of many people when the axe of the world’s last dictator (antichrist) begins to fall.

Here are some of the scriptures that we depend on rather than the Pope’s encyclicals or Pontifical statements. These passages are strict warnings against the attempt to lump together the writings of ancient or modern pagan and idolatrous religions of the world – much more, they are a strict warning not to follow the falsehoods the Pope is putting forth.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (Jn 14: 6)

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” (Ga 1: 8)

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Ac 4: 10-12)

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (Jn 3: 36)

Does the Pope serve a schizophrenic God?

Islam and Christianity are so completely incompatible that the only way the Pope could get any traction on his new assertions is to have God pronounced as a feather brained, double minded delusionary, suffering from dementia praecox.

When a Christian shares the gospel message with an unbeliever they are invited to come to repentance of sin and new life, but they are never forced or coerced against their will. They alone must open the door. To wit:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev 3: 20)

When Muslims share, they are given leave to kill those who will not accept or believe in their religion. To wit:

“Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.” (Qur’an 9: 5)

A comparison of these two verses alone leave us in amazement and raise yet another question – has the Pope ever read  the Scriptures or the Koran – at all?

God’s house is not divided – so exactly who has dementia praecox?

If, as the Pope says, Allah and Christ are the same entity, then why did Jesus say – “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth?” (Lk 11: 17)

Let’s review.

The Pope’s “same entity” is calling for the death of unbelievers in one part of the world, which as we see from day to day, includes Christians, but across the pond he is calling for loving our enemies and showing them kindness and forgiveness.

The best wisdom of God and man arrives at the same place, either God is schizophrenic or the Pope has gone astray. This answers, yet once again, the question of why bible believing Christians will only adhere to the words of scriptures. We do not hate or disdain the Pope, but in the end, it will not be his words that will scrutinize our lives. To wit:

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (Jn 12: 46-48)

Our God is not flighty, and never opposes himself. As for the Pope, it can be seen that this is not the case. Advising his 1.2 billion followers to put the Koran on the same level as the bible may be the most incongruous and completely ridiculous thing any Pope has said in all of history. Christians and unbelievers alike should be warned that this contradiction must never be taken seriously.

“…what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (2 Co 6: 14-16)

      • That is true as far as it goes, no man is equal to God – not even close. The Apostle Paul was not even close to God. As far as Pope Francis goes – well he should not even be in the office he holds. Unfortunately he has tremendous influence and has done an enormous amount of damage. Catholic doctrine teaches works based salvation which is false and bad enough – but this Pope is leading the apostasy.

  1. As I read this article and reviewed some of the comments, I must say my heart became saddened when seeing the disunity and divisiveness in the Body of Christ. This reminds me of Paul’s conversion experience. Paul was convinced that he was acting uprightly in persecuting Christians, but he was really persecuting Jesus and the Body of Christ. It was only after Jesus appeared to him and the Holy Spirit enlightened him that he was able to understand what he was doing.
The article makes a claim about the Pope stating that the Bible and the Koran are the same and then uses that claim as a springboard to make a charge of apostasy against him. Even though the publisher has acknowledged what the Pope stated was based on a satirical article and was a false claim, it maintains its charge of apostasy against the Pope based on other appearance’s where the Pope has demonstrated respect for Islam. Does showing respect for another religion indicate that the Pope believes Islam to be equal to Christianity or that one does not need Jesus for salvation? Absolutely not.
In terms of the doctrine being professed here of “Sola Scriptura” I have a few comments. For this to be true, Scripture itself must state that “Scripture alone” is necessary. One cannot find that anywhere in the Scriptures and if it is being asserted outside of the Scriptures that seems to be a violation of the doctrine being espoused.
Furthermore, if the doctrine of “Scripture alone” were true, then why should anyone listen to another person preaching about the Scriptures rather than reading them directly and interpreting it themselves? The most likely response here would be that people may interpret things incorrectly. This would be very true, for as we see there is a plethora of Christian denominations in the world now, but one Catholic Church. When Jesus commissioned his Church on Peter the Rock; the first pope; he gave his teaching authority to him which passed in succession down the line of popes. This does not mean that the Holy Spirit cannot inspire us with the Scriptures, but it means the authoritative teaching remains with the Catholic Church.
To address another comment made by someone else, when stating that Catholic doctrine teaches works based salvation there is a misunderstanding here. Catholic doctrine teaches that we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus. However, it must be understood that there is ongoing sanctification in grace through the life we live. This would be seen as “works” as mentioned in James. Please review the Catechism of the Catholic Church: Part 3, Section 1, Chapter3, Article 2 for in depth information.
Many speak out against the Catholic Church without really understanding her teachings outside of what they have been misled in. It would be nice for one to truly attempt to understand what the Catholic Church teaches, why she teaches it and the basis for her teaching before arguing against them.

    • DJames – I agree with you on the body of Christ being divided. Yet I cannot and will not agree with false claims and unbiblical doctrine.

Paul’s conversion from his days as Pharisee persecuting the Church of Christ has no comparison to what goes on today in the Catholic Church. The Catholic church teaches that Peter was the first Pope – this is untrue and unbiblical – there is no support for that in the Bible whatsoever.

There is a huge difference between respecting Islam and the Pope kissing the Koran – not to mention inviting devotees of Islam to pray in the same church with the Pope. Islam is not the religion of peace, they are the religion of world domination – not to mention their own holy book says to kill all who will not convert to Islam – read the Koran – its right there in their book. Jesus says to love all people, Islam says kill all that will not convert to Islam.

Sola Scriptura is true as far as it goes, but we all listen to others teach on it which is fine. But the only true authority on God is His own Word. Other teachings must line up with God’s Word.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

“Authoritative teaching” is by no means the proclivity of the Catholic church – that is nonsense. Anyone who bases their teaching on the Word of God can teach with authority. Believing otherwise would be to set aside the teaching of all the other Apostles not to mention the prophets – as well as many fine teachers of today. We all differ in some gray areas and that is fine, Paul even mentioned and addressed that in Romans 14.

Christ did not commission the Church on Peter – that is a commonly misunderstood verse. The “rock” is Christ, not Peter. In 1 Peter 2:8 Peter refers to the “Rock” as being Christ, not himself. Instead of me explaining this, read this article: Is Peter the rock on which the Church is built? –

As far as the Catholic church goes – I was in it – I understand very well – which is why I am no longer in it. If you read the Bible for yourself, you come to see that the Catholic church does not teach that which lines up with Scripture.

Think on what this Pope alone has done:
      He kissed the Koran
He invites Islamic people into the church with him
Offered indulgences for following him on Twitter
      Supports a Palestinian State

There are other examples – do you see these things as ok? I pray that you and many others will set aside the Pope – read the Word and ask God what He wants you to see.

    • Yes we are aware of that – if you read the article you will see that I acknowledged that at the top of the article, however, Rev. Michael’s comments in this article still have merit – and the Pope still is one of the leaders of the current apostasy.

  2. Another website states that the pope never made such a statement. Even if that is true, he just as well of when one considers that he has stated that the god of islam is the god of the catholic church. So, please point out what difference it makes?

    • Other than in the interest of accurate reporting – not much. He may as well have said it as the ideas that Pope Francis pushes amount to pretty much the same thing without the direct quotation. Still, if he did not state that exact comment, then we do not want to report that he did. 🙂

  3. You all seriously need to research these websites that have produced this lie. There are alot of controversial statements the pope has made, but this like many others, not all, is a lie! And all you christians are definately not in the business of spreading lies, I know!! I am christian. PLEASE RESEARCH!! THERE ARE VERY MANY SATIRE AND HALF TRUTH NEWS WEBSITES OUT THERE THAT SOUND LEGIT AND THEY ALL REPEAT THE SAME STORIES.

    • I realize you mean well, but did you read the update on this article???
