WASHINGTON — Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of a select committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, said there are many messages missing from the Hillary Clinton emails disclosed to his committee so far.
Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless.

“There are gaps of months, and months, and months,” Gowdy said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

Gaps would be significant because The New York Times reported last week that Clinton used a personal email account during her tenure as secretary of state, potentially shielding herself from future public scrutiny.
“If you think to that iconic picture of her on a C-17 flying to Libya, she has sunglasses on and she has her hand-held device in her hand,” Gowdy said, referring to a photo of Clinton that became a popular meme. “We have no emails from that day. In fact, we have no emails from that trip. So it strains credibility to believe that if you’re on your way to Libya to discuss Libyan policy, that there’s not a single document that’s been turned over to Congress.”
The five Democratic members of the Benghazi committee said Friday that releasing the Clinton emails already in the panel’s possession would disprove Gowdy’s claim.
“Allowing these emails to be made public will help clear up any misperceptions and will also help return the Committee to its original purpose, investigating the tragic events in Benghazi, rather than allowing it to become a surrogate for the Republican National Committee,” the Democratic members said in a letter to Gowdy.
Clinton has said she asked the State Department to turn over all of her emails.
