General Michael Flynn defense fund Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.

I see people who speak with anger in their words against everything and everyone they see. I see faces sculpted by anger – the resentment they have against life has molded each line upon their faces.

I see others whose faces are filled with joy that comes from an abundance of grace in their heart and each line upon their face says so. Their tongues are filled with goodness in every word that comes from their mouth. You can look upon their face and see in their eyes that there is joy.

It seems that people who say they always have problems, always have problems. People who always say that all is good, always seem to always be happy. Funny how that works.

We read in Proverbs 18:21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

Words are powerful. They can light a fire in your heart that can cause you to strive for greatness. Words can also break down the coldest of hearts and warm it with its melody. Words can capture your mind and imagination, taking you prisoner. Great words can wrap around you like a cocoon, piercing soul and mind, and healing the damaged heart.

Words can also destroy. Wrong words spoken can devastate, piercing the skin, and puncturing the heart as they lay waste to one’s psyche and emotion. The wrong words spoken at the right time can cause great destruction to a person. If you are lucky you will receive words that bring life, because you can be assured of receiving words meant to destroy you.

People who speak negative words and murmur and defy God are always in trouble; people who love God and speak life with His words find themselves loved and rescued every time they are in need.

God gave us words to speak to others to bring them victory and life. I really believe that He gave us scriptures purposed for times of need, so that we could with the power of the spoken word bring health, happiness and comfort into lives. He tells us in Deuteronomy 32:2 – Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.

Speak words of life to others when they are in need. Share with them the Word of God that brings life.

Speak words of comfort – I know the painful trial you are suffering through is hard, but many others have suffered the same and God has rescued them. I pray that God’s glory be revealed in your life. God is your anchor, sure and steadfast, amidst the greatest storms. So do not be discouraged and depressed, but rejoice and be glad and realize that this is but a spiritual refining process for you benefit. Be comforted for your victory and glory is waiting just around the corner. 1 Peter 4:12-13

Speak words of encouragement – Realize that God has a firm grip on you and He is not letting go. Do not panic and realize that He is right here to help you. When you are feeling weak, He will strengthen you. When you are ready to fall, He will uphold you with His hands which are full of righteousness and love. Know that He will help you, He will hold you by the hand in your distress – He will bring you laughter and joy. Isaiah 41:13

Proverbs 16:24 – Gracious and kind words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
