Fellow patriots, please listen to this short, inspiring message from General Flynn. General Michael Flynn exemplifies patriotism, courage, and love of God and country - despite some of his own countrymen relentlessly attacking him. Donations for his defense are greatly appreciated. If you can only give $5.00, please do so - every little bit helps. Thank you so much, and God bless. Letter from General Flynn.
“Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”” Exodus 4:10-12 (NKJV)
“But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say.” Matthew 10:19 (NASB)
Some of us have been blessed with spiritual gifts that require us to speak. Maybe we are teachers, or able to interpret spiritual tongues. Others might be given a word of encouragement and pressed to step out in faith in order to deliver it, often to a stranger. If we are too fearful to speak, we quench the Spirit of God and miss a blessing. We must trust that God will provide us with a covering of grace, and step out in faith.
Moses is believed to have had a problem with his speech, maybe it was stuttering. This speech impediment caused him to hesitate when God told him to be His spokesperson. Moses asks God to send someone else in his place (Ex. 4:13-16). Instead of choosing another man for this honor, God provided Aaron to help Moses. “So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God.”
If Moses had been stronger in his faith, he would have realized that God would never have asked him to do something he was ill equipped to handle. God always gives His children the tools they need to carry out His purpose and plan. Aaron was a crutch Moses really did not need.
If the Holy Sprit has prompted you to speak but you don’t know what to say, you must step out in faith. “Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.” Matthew 10:19-20(NKJV)
Whenever I read Genesis 22, the story of Abraham and Isaac, I breathe a sigh of relief. This unusual testing of Abraham’s obedient faith may seem cruel to us, but God had good reasons. He always does! Certainly there must have been tears of joy when God called a Holt to the human sacrifice. God provided a ram to take the place of Isaac. This is when Abraham calls His God, Jehovah-Jireh: The-Lord-Will-Provide.
God provides in so many ways. Matthew 6:31 reminds us not to worry about what we eat, drink, or wear. He knows what we need even before we think to ask for it. God created our bodies, so He knows we are fragile. Philippians 4:19 says He will supply all of our needs.
Love is one of our needs. God has a limitless amount of unconditional love to offer and He longs to bestow it upon us daily. Humans are often fearful and require strength to persevere and endure hardships. God promises to provide these as well.
Whatever you need, God will certainly provide it for you. Love, healing, strength, courage, abilities beyond measure, and so much more are yours, if only you believe. He will loosen a tongue, provide the words, and remove the fear. Don’t let others miss out on the blessing God wants to give them. You are merely the spokesperson. He is the one who will teach and encourage. You have only to yield yourself to His power and provision, as Moses did so long ago.
“I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.” Luke 21:15 (NKJV)
